Dear Daughter
Sorry, it’s been a while since I’ve last written to you, but I promise to be a little more diligent from now on. Your mother and I have moved into a new house today. It’s pretty nice, and I know you’ll like it. Your grandparents (all four) should be visiting us more often now that you’re joining the family and so we’ll have more space for them to stay with us.
We are more or less done with decorating the house (your mom’s words, not mine), but there’s the big question of your room. I want to pain it myself, but your mother wants us to get you wall-paper. Then there’s the question of color: I like blue, but that’s for boys. Not sure you would care, though, so let’s see :)
Love you loads, and may have a serious chat with you tomorrow.
Love,
Dad.
