Dear Daughter
You’re 21 today… Weeks that is! I missed the scan, which is a massive disappointment, and we now know that you’re a girl. As beautiful as your mother.
I’m excited. I’ll tell you a little secret, I was hoping for a girl. I’ll post a picture of your mother. We were in London on vacation last week, and I took that picture when we were driving to the hotel from the airport.
We had a great time in London. We went to a play, which I enjoyed. I was actually there for University, so I spent a lot of my time studying. Your mother spent her time shopping. Well, thinking about shopping, she doesn’t like to spend too much money!
It’s the football World Cup. Neither your mother, nor I, are big fans of sports. Well, I love playing all sports, but I don’t have the patience to watch someone else play. That’s a little selfish, I suppose.
Otherwise, I can’t wait to get back home to your mother and you. I’m away for a few days and I miss you already.
Love you loads, and I can’t wait to meet you.
Dad
