Letters to a speechless child

I'm an expecting father. This will be our first child. I'm overrun with joy, fear and excitement, but I'm also worried that my child may never get to know us as the young, happy and somewhat cool couple.

I decided to start this blog to write some letters to my unborn child. I'd like to tell our child a little bit about us, maybe part with some lessons I've learned along the way, or it could be a way for me to dispense with my trepidation!

… and if you’re a daughter, then this song is for you. It’s quite apropriate, this Zulu version, considering I’m in South Africa at the moment!

Well, if you’ve got your mother’s smile, then you’ll be able to get very far with it, I promise you that much.
